Who We Fit

A tire and wheel shop in Bridgeville for cars, trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps

Cars, Sedans & Crossovers

New car tires for daily commuting in and around Pittsburgh. Factory-size replacement tires, all-season tires for wet roads and Western PA winters, and upgraded wheels for cars and crossovers when you want a different look.

Trucks & SUVs

Truck tires and truck wheels for half-ton and heavy-duty pickups and family SUVs. Highway tires for the parkway, all-terrain tires for mixed use, and load ratings that match how much you carry and tow.

Jeeps & Off-Road Builds

Jeep wheels and tires, aggressive all-terrain and mud-terrain options, and the offset and backspacing that keep bigger tires clearing the fenders. We build around how far off pavement you actually go.

Work Trucks & Towing

Job sites, gravel, curbs, and loaded trailers chew through the wrong tire fast. We match tread pattern, load range, and sidewall strength to work-truck and towing use so the setup holds up.

Installation

Tire Mounting & Wheel Installation

Professional tire and wheel installation in our shop, done clean and correct. Bring the vehicle in, we handle the install, and we get you back on the road.

Not sure what size fits your vehicle? Send us your year, make, model, trim, and what you want out of the setup. Every estimate is free.

Exact fitment depends on your vehicle's year, make, model, trim, wheel offset, backspacing, and ride height, so we look at the vehicle and talk it through before recommending a tire size or wheel. We can also try to source a specific brand you have in mind, and in many cases we can install tires and wheels you supply yourself. Give us a call so we can confirm what will work.
Inside the Shop

Here is a look at tire and wheel work happening in our Bridgeville bays. This is the same shop, the same equipment, and the same crew that will handle your install when you bring your car, truck, SUV, or Jeep to us.

Tire Types

Choose the right tire for how you drive

All-season tires are the default for most cars, crossovers, and daily-driven SUVs. They handle rain, cold mornings, and the occasional Pittsburgh snow while staying quiet on the highway.

Highway tires suit trucks and SUVs that live on pavement, tow, or run up miles on the parkway. All-terrain tires add bite on gravel, mud, dirt, and job sites while still driving well on the road. Mud-terrain tires go further off pavement, with the tradeoff of more noise and a firmer feel day to day.

Tell us where the vehicle actually spends its time and we will point you to the tire that fits it, not the one with the biggest markup.

Wheel Fitment

Size, offset, and clearance

A wheel that looks right in a photo does not always fit. Diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, and backspacing all have to work together, and the wheel still needs to clear your brakes on the inside and your fenders on the outside.

That is what a shop is for. We measure the vehicle, confirm the wheel and tire combination before you order, and tell you honestly if a setup will rub. If you run a lift or a leveling kit, we factor in the new ride height too. You can see how we handle larger tire fitment after a lift if that is where your build is headed.

Why Xtreme

Local fitment experience since 1978

Fitment Confirmed First

We check size, offset, backspacing, and clearance against your actual vehicle before anything is ordered. That is how you avoid rubbing, spacers you did not want, and a return trip.

Honest Guidance, Not a Catalog

We ask how you drive before we ask what you want to spend. A commuter, a work truck, and a weekend trail rig need different tires, and we will tell you when a cheaper option is the right one.

Installed In Our Own Shop

Your tires and wheels go on here in Bridgeville, in our bays, by people who do this work every day. Same shop that handles the lifts, the caps, the liners, and the rest of the build.

Family-Owned Since 1978

One shop, one family, more than 40 years on Millers Run Road. We have been putting tires and wheels on Pittsburgh and South Hills vehicles long enough to know what holds up around here.

Tire & Wheel Brands

Brands We Work With and Can Source, but Are Not Limited To

These are the tire and wheel brands customers ask about most. We work with quality manufacturers and recommend the right fit for your vehicle instead of pushing one brand on every build.

Nitto BFGoodrich Goodyear Toyo Fuel Off-Road Moto Metal XD Wheels American Racing

Have a specific tire or wheel in mind that is not on this list? Tell us what it is and we will do our best to source it for you. In many cases we can also install tires and wheels you bought elsewhere. The best setup for your vehicle depends on size, offset, clearance, ride height, how you drive, budget, and availability, so we talk it through before you commit to anything.

Built Around Your Setup

Daily driving, work, towing, or off-road

A commuter car needs a quiet, long-wearing all-season tire. A work truck needs load range and sidewall strength. A tow rig needs a tire that stays composed under weight. A lifted truck or Jeep needs the right offset so a bigger tire clears the fender at full turn.

We build the tire and wheel setup around the job the vehicle actually does. If you are also planning a lift kit or leveling kit, we can coordinate the lift, wheels, and tires together so the whole build fits and drives right.

Common Questions

Tire and wheel questions

Does Xtreme sell and install new tires for passenger cars?
Yes. We are known for truck work, but we sell and install new tires for cars, sedans, hatchbacks, crossovers, and family SUVs too. Daily commuters, factory-size replacement tires, and all-season tires for wet roads and Pittsburgh winters are all part of what we do. Bring us the year, make, model, and trim and we will get you a quote.
Can you help me choose the right tire size for my car, truck, or SUV?
That is a big part of the job. We look at your vehicle, your current setup, your ride height, and how you drive, then walk you through the sizes that fit. If you want to go larger than factory, we tell you honestly what will clear and what will rub before you spend anything.
Do you sell complete wheel and tire packages?
Yes. Buying the wheels and tires together lets you see the whole setup at once and lets us confirm the pairing works on your exact vehicle before it gets ordered. Tell us the look you are after and how you use the vehicle, and we will put a package in front of you.
Can you install custom wheels on a stock-height vehicle?
Absolutely. You do not need a lift to run aftermarket wheels. What matters is diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, and backspacing, along with brake clearance on the inside and fender clearance on the outside. We measure and confirm all of that first.
Can you fit larger tires after a lift or leveling kit?
Yes, and it is one of the most common things we do. A leveling kit or suspension lift opens up the wheel wells for a bigger tire, and the right wheel offset keeps that tire from rubbing. We handle the lift, the wheels, and the tires in the same shop, so the whole build gets set up together. You can read more on our lift kit installation page.
What is wheel offset, and why does it matter?
Offset is how far the wheel's mounting surface sits from its centerline. It decides how far the wheel tucks in toward the suspension or pushes out toward the fender. Get it wrong and the tire rubs, the brakes contact the wheel, or the stance looks off. Get it right and everything clears and sits the way you pictured it. We work this out for you before anything is ordered.
What is the difference between all-season, all-terrain, and mud-terrain tires?
All-season tires are the everyday choice for cars, crossovers, and street-driven SUVs. They stay quiet, wear well, and handle rain and cold. All-terrain tires add a more open tread for gravel, dirt, mud, and job sites while still behaving on the highway. Mud-terrain tires go further off pavement with an aggressive tread, and the tradeoff is more road noise and a firmer daily ride. Tell us where the vehicle spends its time and we will steer you right.
Do you install tires or wheels I bought somewhere else?
In many cases, yes. We offer installation for select customer-supplied tires and wheels. Give us a call first so we can go over the parts, your vehicle, and the fitment, and make sure everything will work the way you want before you bring it in. You can read more on our customer parts installation page.
What tire and wheel brands can Xtreme get?
Customers ask about Nitto, BFGoodrich, Goodyear, Toyo, Fuel Off-Road, Moto Metal, XD, and American Racing most often, and we work with more brands than that list. If you have a specific tire or wheel in mind, tell us and we will do our best to source it for you.
What should I bring or send to get a tire and wheel quote?
The year, make, model, and trim of your vehicle, the tire or wheel size you are running now, any lift or leveling kit already on it, and a sentence about how you use the vehicle. That is usually enough for us to get you a real number. Call the shop or send us an estimate request and we will follow up.
Do you work on cars, or just trucks?
Both. Trucks and Jeeps are a big part of what we do, but cars, sedans, crossovers, and SUVs come through the shop all the time. New tires, custom wheels, and professional installation are available for whatever you drive.
