Why Lift Your Truck

What a lift kit actually does for your truck

Fit Larger Tires

A lift opens up the wheel wells so you can run bigger, more aggressive tires. We match the lift height to the tire size you want and check fitment so you get the look and traction without constant rubbing.

Increase Ground Clearance

More space between your undercarriage and the trail means better approach and departure angles and fewer scrapes over rocks, ruts, and curbs. Clearance is the real off-road advantage a lift gives you.

Improve Stance

Most trucks sit lower in the front from the factory. A leveling kit corrects that rake, and a full suspension lift gives the truck a stronger, more commanding stance that looks right with the rest of the build.

Built for Daily Driving or Off-Road Use

Daily driver, weekend trail rig, or work truck, the right setup is different for each. We help you choose a lift that fits how you actually drive so the truck stays comfortable on the road and capable off it.

What We Install

Leveling

Leveling Kit Installation

A clean, factory-plus look that raises the front to match the rear and fits slightly larger tires while keeping near-stock ride quality. The budget-friendly way to lose the factory rake.

Full Lift

Suspension Lift Kit Installation

Two-inch to six-inch and up. We install full suspension lift systems that raise the front and rear for maximum clearance, big tire fitment, and an aggressive stance, set up right for on-road and off-road driving.

All Platforms

Truck, Jeep & SUV Lift Kits

Half-ton and heavy-duty trucks, Jeeps built for the trail, and lifted SUVs. We dial in height and capability for daily driving, towing setups, and everything in between.

Fitment

Wheels, Tire Fitment & Offset Guidance

The right wheel offset and backspacing keep big tires from rubbing. We help you pair wheels and tires with your lift and check fitment before anything gets ordered, so the build fits the first time.

We focus on professional lift kit and leveling kit installation here in Bridgeville. Exact fitment, lift height, and tire size depend on your vehicle's make, model, year, wheel offset, and build goals, so we look at the truck and talk it through before recommending a setup.

Why Xtreme

Why truck owners bring their lift work to us

Proper Fitment

We measure your truck and verify the lift, wheels, and tires work together before the build, so you get the height and tire size you want without rubbing, binding, or surprises.

Safe Suspension Setup

Lift components get installed to spec with proper torque, brake-line and steering clearance checked, and an alignment after the install. A lift only drives right when it is set up right.

Real Shop Installation

Your lift is installed in our shop on a lift, by people who do this work all the time, not bolted together in a driveway. Real tools, real bays, real experience on trucks like yours.

Local Experts Since 1978

We have been the same family-owned shop in Bridgeville for over 40 years, building out trucks for people all over Pittsburgh and the South Hills. We know what holds up in Western PA conditions.

Lift Height & Tire Size

Matching lift height to tire size

The lift you choose decides the tires you can run. As a general guide, a leveling kit or mild lift fits up to about 33-inch tires, a 2-inch to 3-inch lift opens up room for 33s and 34s, a 4-inch lift moves you into 35s, and a 6-inch lift gets you to 37-inch tires and up.

Wheel offset and backspacing matter just as much as height. The wrong offset causes rubbing, and bigger tires sometimes call for minor trimming. We measure your setup and confirm fitment before anything is ordered so the tires clear the way you want.

Leveling vs Suspension Lift

Leveling kit or full suspension lift?

A leveling kit raises just the front to match the rear, keeps a near-stock ride, and fits slightly larger tires for less money. It is the easy win if you want a level stance and a cleaner look.

A suspension lift raises the front and rear for serious clearance, big tire fitment, and an aggressive stance, and it is the better call for real off-road use. Not sure which fits your truck and budget? You can read our complete lift kit guide for the full breakdown, or just ask us.

Lift & Suspension Brands

Brands We Carry, Use, and Trust, but Are Not Limited To

These are the popular lift and suspension brands customers ask about most. We work with quality manufacturers and recommend the right kit for your truck instead of pushing one brand for every build.

Common Questions

Lift kit installation FAQs

How much does lift kit installation cost?
It depends on the kit, the lift height, your truck, and what else the build needs. Leveling kits are the most affordable, mid-range lifts cost more, and tall suspension lifts with wheels, tires, and extra hardware are a bigger investment. The best way to get a real number is to tell us about your truck and your goals. Stop in or request a free estimate and we will put together an honest quote.
What is the difference between a leveling kit and a suspension lift?
A leveling kit raises the front of your truck about 1.5 to 3 inches to match the rear and correct the factory rake. It improves the look, fits slightly larger tires, and keeps a near-stock ride at a lower cost. A suspension lift raises the front and rear, usually 2 to 6 inches or more, by replacing or modifying major suspension parts. It is built for serious clearance, large tires, and an aggressive stance. We help you pick based on how you use the truck.
Do I need an alignment after a lift kit?
Yes, always. A lift changes your suspension geometry, so an alignment afterward is required for even tire wear, straight steering, and safe handling. We handle the alignment as part of our lift kit installation so your truck drives right when you pick it up.
What size tires can I fit with a 2-inch, 4-inch, or 6-inch lift?
As a general guide, a 2-inch lift fits up to about 33-inch tires, a 4-inch lift handles roughly 33 to 35-inch tires, and a 6-inch lift gets you into 35 to 37-inch tires and up with the right wheel offset. Exact fitment depends on your truck's make, model, year, wheel offset, backspacing, and any fender trimming the build needs. Bring your truck to our Bridgeville shop and we will confirm what fits before you order.
Will a lift kit affect ride quality?
It depends on the kit. Leveling kits have minimal impact on ride quality. Budget suspension lifts can ride firmer, especially with basic shocks. Premium lifts with quality shocks designed for your truck's weight and use can actually ride better than stock. Larger, heavier tires add unsprung weight that can affect smoothness too. We help you choose components that balance the look you want with the ride you want.
How long does lift kit installation take?
It varies by kit. Leveling kits are often done in a few hours. A 2-inch to 3-inch suspension lift is usually a half day to a full day. A 4-inch to 6-inch lift can take a full day or more. Time goes up if we add wheels and tires or find worn parts that should be replaced during the install. We will give you a realistic timeframe with your estimate.
Are lift kits legal in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania does not set a specific lift-height limit, but your truck still has to meet safety requirements, including headlight and bumper height and properly functioning safety equipment. Reasonable lifts in the 2-inch to 6-inch range, installed professionally, typically have no issue. Extreme lifts can run into inspection challenges. We install lifts so your truck stays safe and street-legal.
Can you install wheels and tires at the same time?
Yes, and a lot of customers do. Doing the wheels and tires with the lift lets you see the complete build at once, lets us verify fitment before you leave, and saves a second trip. Bring your wheel and tire preferences to your estimate, or we can show you options that match your lift and your truck.
Do you install Rough Country lift kits?
Yes. Rough Country is one of the most popular brands customers ask about, and we install Rough Country lift and leveling kits along with other quality brands. We will help you decide if it is the right fit for your truck, your lift height, your tire goals, and your budget.
Do you install ReadyLIFT suspension kits?
Yes. We install ReadyLIFT leveling and suspension kits, including full systems like the ReadyLIFT 6-inch MAX3 suspension lift with Falcon shocks shown in our shop photos. We will help you decide if ReadyLIFT or another brand makes the most sense for your build.
Can I bring my own lift kit for installation?
In many cases, yes. We install select customer-supplied lift kits and parts. Give us a call first so we can talk through the kit, your truck, and any extra hardware the install may need. That way we can make sure the parts are complete and the setup will work the way you want before you bring it in.
What lift height is right for my truck?
It comes down to how you use the truck. A leveling kit or mild lift is great for a level stance and slightly bigger tires on a daily driver. A taller suspension lift makes sense for serious off-road clearance and large tires. We factor in your tire goals, ride quality, budget, and how you drive, then recommend a height that fits. Stop in or request an estimate and we will match the right lift and tire size to your vehicle.
