Do you only work on trucks?
Not at all. Trucks are a big part of what we do, but we work on cars and SUVs too. Window tint, ceramic coating, detailing, rustproofing, PPF, remote starters, hitches, and more are all available for any vehicle.
Rustproofing & Undercoating
What's the difference between rustproofing and undercoating?
Our rustproofing is a wax-based paraffin that goes on as a clear amber coating. It gets applied inside the hood, tailgate, fenders, and doors to penetrate and protect all the hard-to-reach areas where rust likes to start. The undercoating is a separate black tar-based product that gets applied to the entire underside of the vehicle, protecting against road salt, moisture, and debris while also helping to reduce road noise.
Should I rustproof a brand new vehicle?
Absolutely. New vehicles are actually the best candidates for rustproofing because there's no existing corrosion to deal with. Applying rustproofing and undercoating early creates a protective barrier before road salt, moisture, and debris have a chance to do any damage. It's one of the smartest things you can do to protect your investment in Pittsburgh's climate.
What products do you use for rustproofing?
We use TST Rust Remedy for rustproofing, a rust inhibitor designed to displace moisture and protect corrosion-prone areas. For undercoating, we apply TST Silent Rider, which creates a durable barrier against salt, slush, dirt, and debris. Both products are backed by a lifetime warranty per TST program terms. Learn more about our rustproofing services →
How long does rustproofing take?
Most rustproofing and undercoating jobs are completed the same day. The time depends on your vehicle's size and condition, but you can typically drop it off in the morning and pick it up that afternoon.
How often should I have rustproofing reapplied?
We recommend having your rustproofing inspected and reapplied annually, ideally before winter. Pittsburgh's road salt and brine are tough on vehicles, and keeping up with annual application gives you the best long-term protection.
Ceramic Coating
What is ceramic coating and how does it protect my vehicle?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your vehicle's paint at the molecular level, creating a durable, hydrophobic layer of protection. It guards against UV rays, oxidation, road salt, bird droppings, and environmental contaminants while giving your paint a deep, long-lasting gloss. It also makes your vehicle much easier to wash. Learn more about our ceramic coating services →
What ceramic coating brand do you use?
We use XPEL FUSION PLUS Ceramic Coating. XPEL is a globally recognized brand in vehicle protection, and FUSION PLUS is engineered for long-lasting gloss, hydrophobic performance, and serious protection. It also carries the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation for UV protection.
Does ceramic coating include paint correction?
Yes. Paint correction is part of our ceramic coating process. Before the coating goes on, we assess the paint condition and correct swirl marks, scratches, and haze. The coating is only as good as the surface underneath it, so we make sure the paint is clean and smooth before application.
How long does ceramic coating last?
A professionally applied ceramic coating like XPEL FUSION PLUS is designed to last for years, not months. The exact lifespan depends on how the vehicle is maintained afterward. We'll walk you through proper care and wash techniques to help you get the most out of your coating.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
If you want to keep your vehicle looking great and protect the paint from Pittsburgh's road salt, UV exposure, and everyday wear, ceramic coating is one of the best investments you can make. It eliminates the need for waxing, makes washing easier, and preserves your vehicle's resale value over time.
Window Tint
What window tint film do you use?
We install XPEL PRIME window tint films. We offer three tiers: XPEL PRIME XR PLUS (premium ceramic with top-tier heat rejection), XPEL PRIME XR BLACK (solid mid-range ceramic), and XPEL PRIME CS BLACK (budget-friendly dyed film with a factory look). All three are quality films, and we help you choose the right one for your goals. Learn more about our window tinting services →
Is window tint legal in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania law allows tint on the rear windows and back windshield with no darkness limit. The front side windows must allow more than 70% of light in. We'll help you choose the right shade that gives you the look and heat rejection you want while staying within the law.
How long does window tint take to install?
Most window tint jobs take a few hours depending on the number of windows and the vehicle. You can usually drop off in the morning and pick up the same day.
How long before I can roll my windows down after tinting?
We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down to give the film time to fully cure and bond to the glass. We'll give you specific instructions at pickup based on the time of year and weather conditions.
Detailing & Paint Correction
What's the difference between detailing and a car wash?
A car wash cleans the surface. Professional detailing goes much deeper. It includes thorough interior and exterior cleaning, paint decontamination, clay bar treatment, polishing, and protection. If you want your vehicle to actually look and feel like new, detailing is the service you're looking for. Learn more about our detailing services →
What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the process of removing swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and other imperfections from your vehicle's clear coat using machine polishing. It restores the paint's clarity, depth, and gloss. We recommend paint correction before applying ceramic coating for the best results. Learn more about paint correction →

What is paint protection film (PPF)?
